On June 25th, adidas Consortium will release a new shoe, the "EQT ADV SUPPORT 910," (priced at ¥20,000)—a limited edition of 910 pairs worldwide.
This shoe is an upgrade of the "EQT" series, launched in 1991, to match the aesthetics of modern sneakers. The upper is made of Dyneema®, the world's strongest and most durable fabric, boasting 30% lighter weight than regular nylon and 15 times stronger than steel. Kevlar spun yarn and Kevlar®-coated side panels combine to achieve maximum functionality. The midfoot and heel cage joints also enhance the shoe's lightweight design. The outsole features a contrasting matte black and white color scheme, with a sub-green logo on the outsole. The shoe also features powder-finish three stripes.
In addition, to commemorate the release of the shoes, a review video of the "EQT" by three world-renowned designers, Marc Leuschner of Overkill, Hideyuki Kunii of mita sneakers, and Michael Packer of Packer Shoes, has been released.
The shoes will be released in a limited run of 910 pairs, in keeping with the launch of the first model in the "EQT" series in 1991. Each of the nine global consortium partners will release a limited run of 91 pairs, and in Japan, the shoes will be available exclusively at mita sneakers and UNITED ARROWS & SONS.
