Adidas Consortium releases new sneakers inspired by special forces gear

Mar 20, 2016

On March 19th, adidas Consortium released their new shoe, the "Tubular Doom Primeknit PK Special Forces" (21,000 yen).

These shoes were inspired by special forces equipment. Like the select gear used by special forces, they were designed with functionality, comfort, and durability in mind. They feature Primeknit, a lightweight knit material, and bold elastic straps for freedom of movement and stability. The nylon fabric on the side panels is ripstop-treated.

The outsole is white. The word "Consortium" is printed all over the insole. The heel strap also features a branding logo.

Available at Dice&Dice Fukuoka, DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA, mita sneakers, Styles DAIKANYAMA, UNITED ARROWS & SONS, and V.A.
