Y's will begin selling its 15SS collection from January 9th. Customers who spend over 100,000 yen on items from the new collection will receive an original tote bag on a first-come, first-served basis.

The tote bag is made from canvas finished at a dyeing factory in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture, which has been in business since the Taisho era. The deep navy color resembles indigo dyeing, but it is actually finished with sulfur dyeing. The color is less likely to fade than indigo, and has been used for long-lasting workwear.

It will be available at Y's shops nationwide.
