Lisa Eldridge appointed Lancôme Makeup Creative Director

Jan 16, 2015

Makeup artist Lisa Eldridge has been appointed Creative Director of Makeup at Lancôme. The position had been vacant for nearly four years, following the departure of Aaron de Mey.

While Eldridge has worked with world-renowned photographers such as Solve Sundsbo and Mert & Marcus, and has also worked for renowned magazines and luxury brands, it was her blog, launched in 2009, that first brought her to prominence. In her first post, she humorously shared a makeup technique for erasing the lingering marks of a New Year's Eve party. Since then, she has entertained millions of fans with videos showcasing techniques for achieving a beautiful look in just a few minutes.

Eldridge's encounter with Lancôme dates back 20 years. She has experience working as a beauty advisor at the Lancôme counter at Harrods in London, and after becoming a makeup artist, she has worked on the makeup of actress Kate Winslet, Lancôme's muse.

Eldridge will be involved in the development of new products and collections for Lancôme. She is also planning to create online content, creating makeup tutorials and instructions using the techniques that have made her popular on YouTube.
