Shu Uemura will release "Lac Supria" (3,200 yen), a liquid lipstick inspired by the red of lacquerware, a traditional Japanese craft, on February 1st. A special color was also released in collaboration with Yamada Heiando, a long-established lacquerware store that serves as a purveyor to the Imperial Household Agency. Pursuing new lip makeup, Shu Uemura employed advanced technology to achieve a vibrant, translucent red like lacquer. The smooth, comfortable liquid lipstick delivers vibrant color on the lips, maintaining a long-lasting, lacquer-like luster. The applicator is also specially designed to fit the lips perfectly. Its compact shape makes it easy to apply delicate lines to the corners of the mouth and outline the lips. The lineup includes 15 warm colors, including "Aka Red," a collaboration color with Yamada Heiando, as well as red, pink, orange, coral, beige, and violet.
At the same time, five new colors of "Pressed Eyeshadow (Refill)" (1,800 yen each) will be released, featuring colors that will enhance the lips, as well as new colors of the volume and curl-up type "Petal Lash Mascara" (3,400 yen).
