
Shu Uemura's first-ever collaboration collection with a cat, "Shupette by Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura," will be released in limited quantities of 22 items on November 1st (with one item only available on December 1st).
This time's collaboration partner is the beautiful, pure white furred cat, Shupette, the beloved only daughter of fashion maestro Karl Lagerfeld.
One notable item is the "Shupette Christmas Palette Kit" (9,000 yen), which allows you to enjoy everything from Parisian chic makeup inspired by Choupette to Tokyo Kawaii makeup, the style in which Shu Uemura was born. The set includes the "Choupette Has All Palette," which contains eight eyeshadows and six lip colors; the "Silk Cushion Cheek," which has a creamy texture that blends seamlessly with the skin; and Shu Uemura's classic cleansing oil, "Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil." Additionally, for fans of "Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil," a limited-edition Christmas collection package (450ml/11,150 yen) featuring Choupette's design will be available. For skincare, the "Shu Uemura Choupette Christmas Tsuya Kit" (30ml/8,000 yen, 50ml/15,000 yen) will also be available, which includes the serum "TSUYA Essence" and a trial size of "TSUYA Cream" (new for 2015).
In addition, the "Shu Uemura Choupette Christmas Foundation Kit" (from 7,800 yen), which includes "UV Underbase TSUYA Mousse" and "The Lightbal Fluid Foundation & Sponge," comes with an original Choupette-designed pouch, cleansing oil, and mini-sized lip gloss. Individual items available include the "Eye Need Shu Uemura" eyeshadow palette set in a custom duo-sized case featuring an illustration of Choupette (two limited editions, 3,800 yen each), the "My Precious Glitter Set" loose-type eye glitter powder (4,500 yen), as well as limited edition items such as the "Rouge Bonbon Fantasy Trio" (two limited editions, 3,800 yen each), which boasts vivid color and shine, "Fabulous Cat Nail Enamel" (two limited editions, 1,700 yen each), the smooth and soft colorless powder "Pampearl Me Face Powder Pearl" (4,500 yen), "Silk Cushion Cheek" (two limited editions, 3,000 yen each), and "UV Under Mousse Tsuya Mousse Moist Peach" (4,000 yen).
The lineup also includes "Furry Fantasy Premium Eyelashes" (8,000 yen), inspired by Choupette's fluffy fur, "I Need Choux Eyelashes" (2,600 yen), inspired by her blue eyes, "Choupette Flare Eyelash Curler" (1,200 yen), "With Love from Paris Brush Set" (6,500 yen), and a special trunk, "Choupette Makeup Trunk" (24,000 yen, on sale from December 1st).
To commemorate the release, the campaign site "La Maison de Shupette" opened on October 15th for a limited time until December 31st. Two rooms, Choupette's living room and dressing room, are open to the public, and in addition to introducing collection items and makeup techniques, an Instagram photo contest (from October 1st to December 12th) will also be held.
