Louis Vuitton has unveiled its "SERIES 2" advertising campaign for its Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
This campaign is a sequel to "SERIES 1," the brand's first advertising campaign under artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière. It won Louis Vuitton the British Fashion Award for Best Advertising Campaign. As with the previous campaigns, three photographers have interpreted the collection through their own unique perspectives.
Angled by Annie Leibovitz, the images were shot on three buildings under construction in New York City, overlooking Central Park, featuring Freya Beha. The perspective showcases the collection's approachable wardrobe and innovative savoir-faire.
Meanwhile, Juergen Teller used the black walls and dim lighting of a private home to express the visual clash between the ordinary and the extraordinary. He filmed Jean Campbell, Liana von Rompaey, Daphne Simons, and Malte van Haaster in the aristocratic interiors of Paris.
Bruce Weber also chose Jennifer Connelly as his model. Her body lines are reflected in the Miami sun, creating a realistic look through the fusion of light and shadow.
Campaign visuals and videos will be displayed on Louis Vuitton's official website, app, and official social media. The hashtag is #LVSERIES2.
