Introducing the cute, compact "Forever" inkless metal tip pen

Jan 27, 2015

Daikanyama Tsutaya Bookstore will release the second edition of its ink-free pen, "EVER CUBAN" (6,480 yen).

This metal-tip pencil was favored by famous artists and philosophers, including Leonardo da Vinci, during the Renaissance. When drawn across paper, the special alloy at the tip rubs against the paper and oxidizes, leaving a mark. As a result, the tip wears slightly, but it can be used for much longer than a regular ballpoint pen. Another unique feature is its ability to produce a crayon-like drawing effect depending on the pressure applied.

This new model is the successor to the "FOREVER Pininfarina Cambiano Pen," which debuted last year. It was designed by up-and-coming Italian designer Sergio Mori. It features a charming, rounded wooden body and a lightweight construction, making it easy for women to use.

Since it cannot be erased with an eraser, it is also recommended for use as a quick signature. This product is available at Tsutaya Bookstore's Daikanyama store as well as the official online shop.
