Bunkamura to host fashion film screening leading up to "Dior and Me"

Jan 31, 2015

The documentary film "Dior and I" will be released nationwide from March 14th. To commemorate this, Bunkamura Le Cinema in Shibuya will be holding a special screening called "Fashion and Film" for one week only, starting March 7th. Admission is 1,200 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for students.

This screening will feature four films related to long-established brands, including Dior, every day from March 7th to 13th, one week before the release of "Dior and I." One of the films will be the romantic film "Goodbye Again," starring Ingrid Bergman. Bergman is wearing the final project by Yves Saint Laurent, the successor to Christian Dior, at Dior. Other films being screened at the venue include "Love Until Dark," which also features a number of gorgeous dresses designed by Eve; "A Woman is a Woman," which shows the real clothes worn by women living in Paris at the time; and "Charade," which features the captivating Audrey Hepburn wearing Givenchy outfits. Through these representative films of the 1960s, you will be able to experience the various fashions of the time.
