Tokyo Midtown will open six new stores in the shopping district on April 3rd. The Isetan Shinjuku store will house a salon-like select store called "Isetan Salone." Based on the concept of "combining merchandise (MD) and art," the store offers a wide variety of items, from fashion to real clothes. The interior design was created by photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto and architect Tomoyuki Sakakida, and the store pursued a comfortable space based on the concept of "MY COMFORTABLE SALON." Additionally, organic brand Bamford, which offers bath and body care items, apparel, and miscellaneous goods, has opened its first flagship store in Japan. Bamford Spa also debuts in Japan, offering professional facials and body massages. Jewelry brand TASAKI will offer high-end jewelry designed by creative director Thakoon Panichgul in a private salon-style store. New stores will also be opening at Aesop, a skincare brand that specializes in using plant-derived ingredients, and Grand Raffine, which offers aromatherapy treatments using oils. PALETAS, Tokyo Midtown's first cafe, is popular for its ice cream bars made with domestic fruit, and plans to offer a variety of limited-edition menu items, including tarts made with seasonal fruit.
In addition, KURA CHIKA, the Yoshida & Co. bag exclusive shop on the first basement floor, will also be renovating this spring. It will offer a wide range of leather items, from business to casual wear, including some exclusive KURA CHIKA items.
