Raf Simons, collaborating with American artist Sterling Ruby, held a show at the Espace Vendôme, a former bank. This season, the two worked together to create the entire collection under the joint name "Raf Simons/Sterling Ruby." Ruby designed the interior of Raf's Tokyo shop, which opened in 2008, and they have continued to collaborate on projects almost every year since. Simple coats and blousons were embellished with appliquéd fragments of various materials and printed with finger and globe motifs, while coats patchworked with vibrant striped braid and tie-dye shirt and pants sets were featured. The bold designs created an even more graphic and artistic impression, completing a collection with a fresh appeal never before seen.
