Junichi Abe's kolor held a show at the Palais de Tokyo. Warm autumn/winter pieces, such as coats and sweaters, were reimagined with Kolor's signature mix of materials and color combinations. Authentic pieces like herringbone tweed jackets and reindeer-motif jacquard knitwear were transformed into modern daywear by adding leather to the jacket shoulders and combining different materials in the knitwear. Coats featuring fur prints and polka dots, or fur prints and triangle motifs, were unusual pieces for this season, but served as a subtle accent in the collection. Also striking was the delicate and light finish given to autumn/winter pieces that tend to be heavy, such as cotton wool mohair blousons and coats.
