Yves Saint Laurent Beaute's popular "Volupté" lip gloss series now includes a new addition: the "Gloss Volupté" (3,675 yen). This balm is approximately 10 times more viscous than previous models, creating a light texture that melts instantly onto the lips. The ultra-thin film adheres evenly to the lips, and the long-lasting "Light Kiss System" formula coats the lips, adding a dewy shine and volume. The Volupté series' signature mango scent is also present. The lip-shaped applicator features a pointed tip that fits the corners of the mouth and a wide, curved center that fits the fullness of the lips. The central indentation scoops up the right amount of gloss, allowing for generous application in one go. Available in 22 colors, the collection is available in three finishes: the sensual "GOLD" with gold glitter, the elegant "IRIDESCENT" with a pearlescent finish, and the highly transparent, sheer "PURE" finish. It stands out on its own and can also be layered over other lip colors as a top coat. A survey of men on what "lips make you want to kiss" revealed that pearly red No. 102 was popular among men in their 20s, pure pink No. 202 among men in their 30s, and beige No. 10 with gold glitter among men in their 40s. Six colors, including No. 49, the color used in the visual, will be available for pre-sale at Isetan Shinjuku on February 16th, with all colors available nationwide on April 1st.
