Stacey Givens, owner of the organic farm "The Side Yard Farm & Kitchen" and also a chef, will be visiting Japan. She will be holding the food event "SIDE YARD FARM "SEED to BITES"" in Kamakura on February 22nd and in Kyoto on March 1st.
"The Side Yard Farm & Kitchen" is located in Portland, USA, known as the birthplace of "D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself)" culture. At this event, Japanese organic vegetables will be cooked Portland-style. You can experience Portland's food culture at the traditional Japanese house "Tsubomi no Ie" in Kamakura and at a venue renovated from an indigo dyeing factory in Kyoto.
