RESTYLE PLUS at Isetan Shinjuku has collaborated with Shibuya-based select shop FAKE TOKYO to open a limited-time shop titled "GRADATION" on December 3rd at The Stage #3 on the 3rd floor of the main building. The shop will be open until December 9th.
FAKE TOKYO operates the shops CANDY and Sister, and offers a unique selection of brands from Japan and abroad, from cutting-edge brands to international maison brands. For this collaboration shop, Isetan and FAKE TOKYO worked together to direct and select the brands. The lineup combines Isetan's recommendations of "high-quality, unique and fashionable creators" with FAKE TOKYO's specialty, up-and-coming brands. 99%IS-, a brand by Korean designer Bajowoo, will be showcasing a rider's jacket (black and navy, 143,000 yen) and a black and white, red and black, and black and navy, 147,500 yen, exclusive to the shop. While the brand primarily produces men's collections, this time they have also prepared a women's size (size 0). CHRISTIAN DADA will be showcasing a blouson (56,000 yen) exclusive to the shop, as well as a floral print T-shirt with the word "GRADATION" (18,000 yen) and a leather bracelet (11,000 yen). Re-Style Plus will be featuring a logo T-shirt (16,000 yen) from ANDRES CREWS, a dress (73,000 yen), a jacket (103,000 yen), and a coat (120,000 yen) from PHOEBE ENGLISH. Suecomma Bonnie's studded sandals (53,000 yen) will be available in black, white, and even multicolor. Miscellaneous items include a clutch bag (50,000 yen) and a shoulder bag (63,000 yen) from ANGLE JACKSON. One notable brand participating from Fake Tokyo is CHROMAT. Established in New York in 2012, the brand embodies keywords like "body conscious," "strong woman," and "geometric." The venue featured a transparent look (75,000 yen) that hinted at the near future, creating an atmosphere throughout the shop where reality and the future blend together. Sister Original introduced socks (2,500 to 6,000 yen) and tights (4,500 to 6,000 yen). Other brands featured included AMBUSH x CANDY, ANGLE JACKSON, KTZ, mame, and UNIF x CANDY. The shop's name, "Gradation," refers to the blending of various colors, a feeling that cannot be explained in a single word, yet which has been categorized as a single form.
