On February 15, Yuzuru Hanyu won the gold medal in the men's figure skating event at the Sochi Winter Olympics. To commemorate the occasion, a Twitter user posted a portrait of Hanyu drawn in the style of Hirohiko Araki, the manga artist known for "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure." It has become a hot topic online. "Congratulations on your gold medal! I drew Hanyu in the style of Araki-sensei," wrote TAKUMI, a former winner of the Newcomer Manga Award from Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). Not only the drawing's style, but also the costume, pose, and even Hanyu's beloved bear standing next to him are all JoJo-inspired. The image has garnered rave reviews online, with comments like "The Wild Formula," "I Thought It Was Him," and "A Feast for the Eyes." As of the 18th, the image has been retweeted over 40,000 times. Another user's portrait of Hanyu in the style of the popular game "Danganronpa" also sparked buzz. Hanyu has a slim figure and is highly praised for being "two-dimensional," so there seems to be something about him that inspires the creative spirit of creators.
