Feb 28, 2014

Gelateria Marghera, a long-established gelato shop from Milan, Italy, will be releasing a new menu "for adults" garnished with liqueur from April 1st.

The new menu is available exclusively in Japan. There are two options: the affogato-style "Gelato Extra Shot" (Piccolo 646 yen, Grande 741 yen), in which you pour your choice of liqueur from seven types into a cup holding freshly made gelato made in-house every morning, and the parfait menu "Liqualino" (806 yen) which combines gelato, fruit, and liqueur. *Prices are estimated prices excluding tax.

To commemorate the launch, the menu is on pre-sale until March 20th at Emporio Armani Cafe Aoyama in Aoyama, Tokyo. Additionally, until March 20th, they will be offering "Milk & Chocolate Chocolate Liqueur and Fruit" (1,500 yen plus service charge), which is a popular milk and chocolate gelato topped with chocolate liqueur jelly, fresh orange and raspberry, and mint and almond tuile. From March 8th to 15th, they will also be offering the White Day menu, "White Chocolate & Strawberry Vodka and Berry" (1,500 yen plus service charge), which is a strawberry and white chocolate flavored gelato topped with vodka jelly, fresh strawberries and blueberries, and two-colored heart-shaped chocolates. Gelateria Marghera currently has two stores in Japan: Azabu Juban and Atre Ebisu.
