On February 22nd, Incontro opened the first Japan-only store for Vivienne Westwood's diffusion line, Vivienne Westwood Anglomania (hereafter referred to as Anglomania).
It is located at the entrance on the first floor of Laforet Harajuku. The facade features Vivienne Westwood's iconic orb mark, catching the eye of passersby. The store's interior is designed using recycled ship materials. The shopping bags feature an upside-down graphic of London's Piccadilly Circus.
Items include women's wear such as a series featuring draped items using linear patterns, chain-embellished T-shirts, and vibrantly printed dresses, as well as Vivienne Westwood's first lifestyle goods, including towels, home wear, and cushions. The lineup also includes Vivienne's signature eco-friendly goods, such as book covers made from repurposed handkerchiefs, tote bags made from recycled coffee bean bags, and "Sock Animal" stuffed animals made from sewn together socks and tights. Purchases of 10,500 yen or more will receive an original eco-bottle exclusive to the opening.
Anglomania launched in 1998 Spring/Summer 2014. Incontro launched a licensed line in collaboration with the British company Vivienne Westwood in the Spring/Summer 2014 season.
