Nike's new Jordan shoes capture the New Orleans vibe

Feb 21, 2014

Nike has announced the new Jordan Crescent City Collection, a sneaker line that embodies the landscape and culture of New Orleans, USA.

New Orleans is a port city known by nicknames such as Crescent City and Big Easy. It's one of the world's leading tourist destinations, retaining its old colonial-era streets. It's also a renowned music capital, known as the birthplace of jazz, and a thriving sports destination for basketball.

The collection features vibrant colors with infrared accents throughout. Jordan family basketball players such as Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, and Russell Westbrook also wear the collection. The lineup includes the "JORDAN Super Fly 2 ALL STAR" (16,800 yen), "JORDAN CP3 VII ALL STAR" (15,750 yen), and "JORDAN XX8 SE ALL STAR" (19,950 yen), which have been on sale since the 15th. The "JORDAN Melo M10 ALL STAR" (18,900 yen) will go on sale from March 15th at the official Nike online store and select stores such as Nike Harajuku.
