Chloé introduced "Chloé Craft" in its Spring/Summer 2022 collection as a new initiative that combines the use of environmentally friendly materials with the handiwork of independent artisans.

To celebrate the launch of Chloé Craft in the Spring/Summer 2022 collection, the Chloé Ginza store will host "Chloé Classes," a workshop for beginners where participants can experience craft techniques firsthand. Chloé Classes has been held in Paris and around the world and has been well received. This workshop will focus on three techniques used in this season's collection: crochet, macramé, and stitching, allowing participants to discover the intricacy and joy of handcrafts.


All classes will include a Chloé craft kit, where participants will be able to create a hand-crocheted pouch or macrame wall hanging using organic or recycled cotton, and learn various stitching techniques using fabrics from Chloé's past collections.


By combining sustainable materials with artisanal techniques, Chloé Craft pioneers new levels of traceability and transparency in the overly industrialized world of luxury fashion, forging a deeper connection between customers and local producers. Chloé Craft showcases techniques that cannot be achieved by machine and can only be achieved by hand. Beautiful techniques such as macramé, crochet and hand painting bring color and warmth to the collection.


Chloé is committed to minimizing its environmental impact by actively using, quantifying, and measuring eco-friendly materials. As a result, for the Spring/Summer 2022 collection, the brand has successfully increased the use of low-environmental-impact materials across the entire collection to 58%. (40% discount for the Fall/Winter 2021 collection, 55% discount for the Spring 2022 collection)
