
TRANS CONTINENTS will be relaunching this fall. Hiroshi Ozawa, a stylist known for his work on Numero Uno and Intimate Diary, will serve as creative director. Haruyama Shoji Co., Ltd. will handle manufacturing, sales, and store development. The motto for the revival is "Tokyo Jet Setter." The brand aims to be a fit for active men and women who roam the streets of Tokyo. By incorporating just the right amount of trendy elements, the designs are perfect for both work and play. The pieces also incorporate wrinkle-resistant fabrics and quick-drying and shape-memory technologies to support busy businessmen. In addition to Haruyama Shoji's specialty suits, the lineup will also include a wide variety of casual items, including jackets, pants, shirts, knitwear, and accessories, encouraging customers to experiment with a variety of outfits.
They are also committed to offering items at reasonable prices, with the main price ranges for men being business suits from 38,000 to 48,000 yen, jackets from 19,000 to 30,000 yen, shirts/innerwear from 3,800 to 4,800 yen, and coats/outerwear from 15,000 to 38,000 yen. For women, jackets range from 16,000 to 25,000 yen, coats/outerwear from 9,800 to 32,000 yen, and knitwear from 5,800 to 9,800 yen.
Many of the jackets and pants can be worn as a set or individually, allowing you to enjoy a wide range of fashion. One item that stands out is the men's "Mobile Office Jacket" (19,000 yen), which is equipped with internal pockets for storing smartphones, tablets, newspapers, airline tickets, etc. It is an item that symbolizes the brand name, which means "crossing continents."
Starting with the opening of the Ginza Belvia store on October 1st, the company plans to open six directly managed stores across the country, including in Kyoto and Osaka.
