Diesel is hosting the "DIESEL ROCK IN MARS FESTIVAL" on the second floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store until September 2nd. This event, the third in the "Diesel x Art x Isetan" pop-up store series, features a space-themed "Mars Rock Festival." In addition to selling "rock" items, which are the brand's theme for the 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection, the store will also exhibit and sell works from the "SPACE PROJECT" series by up-and-coming photographer and filmmaker Vincent Fournier, selected by the DIESEL ART GALLERY. Based in London and Brussels, Vincent Fournier is an internationally active artist whose works have been exhibited at galleries and art fairs around the world, and are included in collections such as the MAST Museum in Italy and the LVMH Foundation for Contemporary Art in France. His work, titled "POST NATURAL HISTORY," was recently featured in the film "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," garnering significant attention.
During the event, fair-exclusive items such as a leopard print knit cardigan (25,000 yen) and limited edition denim (43,000 yen) will be on sale. Other advance items include 12 knit cardigans, 9 jackets, and 3 denim styles. The knit cardigans come in a wide variety of thicknesses, from thin to thick, to suit the early autumn temperatures. The denim pieces are centered around Diesel's signature skinny design.
Everyone who tries on the denim will receive a complimentary Diesel nail polish. Additionally, anyone who spends over 40,000 yen will receive a complimentary bottle of original wine made at Diesel Farm at THE STAND, the champagne bar on the second floor of the main building.
