Model Karlie Kloss was born on August 3, 1992, in Illinois, USA. She studied classical ballet from a young age and was scouted as a model at a charity fashion show at age 13. At the young age of 15, she signed exclusive contracts with Calvin Klein and Gucci for the 2008 Spring/Summer collection. After her runway debut, she was named best model by American entertainment magazine People, and her name became known worldwide. She also appeared in the first look for DOO.RI for the 2008-2009 Autumn/Winter collection. She went on to appear in shows and advertisements for top brands. In 2011, she walked in the fashion show for lingerie brand Victoria's Secret, and in 2013, she became the youngest model to be named an "Angel," a title given to models who have signed exclusive contracts with the brand. Recently, she has been chosen as a campaign model for Nike's 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection.

Apart from modeling, she has also been hosting the popular fashion show House of Style since 2012. In 2013, she released a capsule collection with denim brand FRAME DENIM. In 2014, eyewear brand Warby Parker released sunglasses in collaboration with Karlie, and she has become a prominent fashion leader.

In her private life, she has been dating an IT investor since 2012. In 2014, she was spotted attending Harvard Business School.
