Hiroki Nakamura of visvim was invited as a guest designer at Pitti Immagine Uomo, held in Florence, Italy in June 2016, and presented the brand's first runway show for the Spring/Summer 2017 season. A virtual reality (VR) exhibition and pop-up shop, allowing visitors to experience the immersive atmosphere of the show, are running until February 14th at the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building 1st Floor Promotion. Key items from the collection, which are sure to sell out, will be on sale. When asked what visvim focused on when putting on the show, Hiroki Nakamura said, "Compared to an exhibition, a runway show requires a greater distance from the products, so our theme was how to bridge that gap."

Visvim's first runway show was held at Pitti Immagine Uomo in June 2016.
To liven up the show, the "LHAMO SHIRTS BAMBOO" (52,000 yen) shirts were made from the happi coats distributed to guests at the venue. The item embodies Nakamura's desire to "create a realistic feel for the atmosphere of the show venue."

Happi coats were distributed at the venue and guests wore them while watching the show.

The "SUNJIRO COAT" was made from the happi coats distributed to guests at the show.
The Spring/Summer 2017 collection show, titled "PEERLESS," which means "there is nothing similar, nothing comparable," features a mix of Japanese and 1950s American styles, with Visvim's signature style evident throughout. When you visit this pop-up shop, in addition to the VR experience of the show filmed in 360 degrees, you should also take note of the items brought in from the Pitti venue by Nakamura, who wanted to "share the Visvim worldview with everyone," such as carp streamer flags made from washi paper by Japanese artisans, the flooring, and curtains.
