Hyatt Regency Tokyo stores will be offering spring sweets for a limited time.
The pastry shop on the second floor lobby will offer four types of sweets with a "Jardin" (garden) theme. Each of the four sweets will depict a natural landscape, as the seasons change from budding to fresh greenery. From February 20th to April 16th, "Pousse - New Sprouts" (600 yen) and "Bourgeon Fleur - Buds" (580 yen) will be available. "Pousse - New Sprouts" represents the soil and buds of spring, and is made with chocolate mousse layered with citrus and lemongrass compote and hazelnut-flavored cream, and topped with finely crushed chocolate cake. "Bourgeon Fleur - Buds" combines strawberry and fromage blanc cream with rhubarb compote. From April 17th to May 31st, two new desserts will be available: "Fleur -Flowers-" (580 yen) and "Herbe -Plants-" (580 yen). "Fleur -Flowers-" is a pure white ball-shaped gateau filled with chamomile mousse, lemon compote, and honey brulee, and has an adorable design inspired by butterflies and bees flying through a flower field. "Herbe -Plants-", inspired by fresh greenery, is a tart base topped with juicy fruit, fresh kiwi, and mint cream, and finished with a thin layer of white chocolate that resembles a spring mist.
In the lounge on the first floor, the "Strawberry & Chocolate Sweets Plate" (2,300 yen) will be available until March 31st, allowing you to enjoy the combination of sweet and tart strawberries and rich chocolate. The tart base is topped with almond cream and crumble, and is topped with plenty of strawberries and cream. This is a special dish that can be enjoyed with a chocolate cup that resembles earth, macarons, and fruit pâté.
