BRICK & MORTAR, a lifestyle select shop in Nakameguro, Tokyo, will be hosting "BRICK & MORTAR / From Taiwan," an event where you can experience seasonal Taiwanese tea through music, from February 18th to March 5th.
BRICK & MORTAR regularly hosts events showcasing various countries and regions and the cultures and products they produce. Following the first event in Turkey and the second in Beirut, this third event will highlight the charms of Taiwan, an island nation like Japan with a uniquely developed culture.
This event will feature field recording artist Yishen Chun, who is hosting a sound exhibition called the "S(URR)OUNDING PROJECT," and Wolf Tea, a Taipei-based company that showcases seasonal single-origin Taiwanese teas.

The event will feature Taiwanese tea harvested from the tea fields of Muzha, Taiwan, and field recordings for sale. Illustrator Ogawa Naho contributed artwork to "FROM TAIWAN," and the Japanese and Taiwanese versions of "Exciting Taipei Walk," a Taiwan guidebook published in July 2016, will also be on sale. Also, on the first day, February 18th, there will be a reception from 6:30pm to 9pm, where you can enjoy authentic Taiwanese cuisine and Taiwanese tea from "Wolf Tea."
