Hotel New Otani Makuhari will kick off the second installment of its "Sweets & Sandwich Buffet - Strawberry Picking at the Hotel," currently being held at The Lounge, a tea and cocktail bar, from March 1 to May 7. The "Strawberry Picking at the Hotel" event, which began in 2009 and attracted a record-breaking 20,000 visitors last season, has been well-received since its January 6th launch, leading to a decision to extend the event until May 7, the final day of Golden Week. While the first installment, currently underway, featured a menu focused on mature women, the second installment, beginning March 1, will feature a "Strawberry & Pops" theme, offering a selection of delightful, delightful treats. In addition to classic strawberry treats like strawberry shortcake, strawberry Napoleon pie, and strawberry tart, the venue will also offer spring-themed treats like strawberry and pistachio eclairs and cherry-colored strawberry rolls. There will also be a "Fresh Strawberry Bar" offering three types of carefully selected fresh strawberries, chosen daily by the discerning eye and palate of our chef pastry chef, who creates strawberry sweets every day. Guests can enjoy three different types of strawberries, each with a different taste, aroma, color, size, and texture, mixed with condensed milk.

In addition, there will be a popular limited-time service where guests can sample freshly made strawberries in a live demonstration. The second installment will feature "Strawberry Romanov," which combines smooth mascarpone cheese sauce with fresh strawberries. Also, on weekends and holidays, there will be a cooking service for churros, a huge hit at theme parks. Other food options available include the hotel's famous roast beef, original sandwiches, rice rolls, soup, curry, pasta, and more.

Prices are 3,600 yen for adults on weekdays, 4,200 yen on weekends and holidays, 4,500 yen on April 29th and 30th and March 3rd to 7th, 2,000 yen for elementary school students, and 900 yen for those aged 4 and over.
