A new soup from 35,000 feet above the ground! Stock Tokyo's special stew now available on JAL international flights

Feb 14, 2017

JAL will be serving Soup Stock Tokyo soup as an in-flight meal in Premium Economy and Economy Class on 15 international routes from March 1 to May 31. The soup served this time is a special stew made with plenty of Hokkaido corn. It's made by slowly sautéing mushrooms and aromatic vegetables and using beef bouillon to create a rich stew. It will be paired with pesto short pasta, stone-baked bread, and yellow peach and yogurt jelly, and served as a second meal before arrival. The routes featured include flights from Narita to Chicago, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Dallas-Fort Worth, Vancouver, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Paris, and Sydney; flights from Haneda to London, Paris, San Francisco, and New York (the flight from Haneda to New York will begin on April 1); and flights from Kansai to Los Angeles.

In addition, this "Hokkaido Corn and Chicken Stew" will be available for a limited time at Soup Stock Tokyo restaurants nationwide from February 13th, ahead of its in-flight availability from March.
