Artist KYOTARO, whose works are inspired by giving form to invisible entities from other dimensions, will hold his large-scale solo exhibition, "Clad in the Universe—Clothing the Universe," from February 24 to May 18 at DIESEL ART GALLEY in Shibuya, Tokyo. This will be KYOTARO's first major solo exhibition in seven years, and will feature 13 new large-scale works, primarily drawings, based on the theme of "clothing worn by future humans in a world 100,000 years from now," as well as approximately 80 smaller works, including paintings. Expressing unusual forms, such as clothing made of liquid and light, clothing that encourages the exchange of consciousness, and clothing equipped with communication functions, the exhibition invites viewers to imagine a distant future and explore unknown worlds, creating a space before their eyes. In addition to the exhibited works, postcards and other limited-edition original merchandise will be available for purchase at the venue. A signing session is also scheduled for April 28 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
