MUVEIL, which has placed emphasis on handcrafts since its inception, will launch the first of its customization services in the Spring/Summer 2017 season, allowing customers to create unique pieces tailored to their personal tastes.
The first handcrafted customization service offers button replacement and design embroidery. Designer Michiko Nakayama will personally visit the store to discuss and find the perfect customization to suit your taste.
The base item for the customization is a cardigan (38,000 yen) featuring floral embroidery, available separately from the Cruise Collection line. Five floral motifs will be available: lily of the valley, mimosa, violet, strawberry, and anemone. Customers can also enjoy replacing buttons (additional cost) selected from MITAKE BUTTONS, a long-established button retailer in Ginza, Tokyo. The service will start on February 25th at GALLERY MUVEIL, a concept shop in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, and will then be rolled out to a total of 14 stores, including Isetan Shinjuku, Ginza Mitsukoshi, Hankyu Umeda, and Iwataya Main Store, until the end of March.
