PETIT BATEAU will open two new stores, one inside Hiroshima Parco on March 17th and the other inside GINZA SIX, the largest complex in the Ginza area, which opens on April 20th.
The first Petit Bateau boutique in the Ginza area, opening on the fourth floor lifestyle floor of GINZA SIX, will carry a full line of items for babies, children, women, and men. The brand will also offer exclusive Ginza-exclusive items, including the classic marinière pullover with the brand logo. The interior is decorated with vintage furniture and tiles imported from France, creating a shopping experience where customers can experience the world of Petit Bateau.
The first Petit Bateau boutique in the Chugoku region, opening on the fourth floor of the new Hiroshima Parco building, will also carry a full line of items for babies, children, women, and men. The store is accessible to a wide range of customers, including families and couples. Each store will also be holding an opening commemorative campaign. Petit Bateau's 2017 Spring/Summer collection features colorful items based on the theme of "Iconicola" (a portmanteau of iconic and color). The lineup includes the brand's iconic marinière striped shirt, a yacht parka, and cotton knitwear with shoulder buttons. In addition, from February 24th to March 9th, a campaign will be held in which anyone who purchases eligible items such as the new color marinière items and yacht parka for over 10,000 yen will receive an original tote bag.
In addition, a worldwide photo contest will be held on Instagram with the theme of "Hide and Seek" (#kakurenbo), using colorful colors and patterns. By taking a photo camouflaged in the background like a chameleon and uploading it with a designated hashtag, the winner will be entered to win a customized new color marinière striped shirt with their name embroidered on it.
