On November 23rd, ZARA reopened its Shinjuku store after extensive renovations and expansion. The renovation marked the launch of a new global brand concept. The store's floor space was expanded to over 2,300 square meters by adding an additional floor. The continuous white ceiling and walls eliminate boundaries, creating a sense of freedom. Effective lighting and a neutral backdrop highlight the merchandise. A large screen projecting videos of the latest collections was also installed on the façade. Furthermore, the new eco-store complies with all sustainability and energy-saving standards set by its parent company, the Inditex Group, achieving an average energy reduction of 50% compared to conventional stores. To ensure the store's energy savings, a central control system at the group's headquarters in Arteixo, northwest Spain, manages energy consumption. To further enhance the customer experience, the store is the first in Asia to introduce cutting-edge RFID technology, allowing customers to quickly request different items without leaving the fitting room.
The store carries all collections, from women's to men's, kids' and babies'. To commemorate the opening, limited edition items for women, men's and kids will be released. The women's line features eight denim items accented with fur, a trend this season. The line also features items that pay attention to details such as distressed processing and silhouettes. The men's line features a leather collection that not only excels in design but also pursues authentic quality and comfort. The kids' line will feature limited edition T-shirts designed especially for the store.
After being released first at the Shinjuku store, these items will also be sold at the Shibuya, Shibuya Koen-dori, Ginza, Harajuku and Shinjuku South Exit stores.
