FENDI has launched "F IS FOR..." (https://fisfor.fendi.com), a digital platform for millennials by millennials.
The platform will create and publish experimental content divided into five categories, with the aim of becoming a place where the stories, images, sounds, and fashion of young people who are not satisfied with what already exists can come together with the art, culture, music, and beyond that will create a new movement. The site is divided into five categories: "FREAKS," where you can read about the concept behind F IS FOR...; "FULGORE," a fashion page featuring photos and videos of millennial models taken with an iPhone 7; "FACES," where you can learn about the freaks who inspire young people; "FREEDOM," a page introducing the best places around the world that aren't famous clubs or five-star restaurants; and "FEARLESS," where you can watch videos of emerging and well-known artists in music, art, and culture performing live on the rooftop of Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana.
Furthermore, on February 10th, the first F IS FOR... event was held at the Fulton Market Building in New York. The event, which combined fashion and music, featured a diverse range of performers, including Chinese singers Bohan, Howie Lee, and Meuko, emerging singer Abra, Korean singer Jenny FTS, rappers Keith Ape and Miso and Dean, producer and DJ Jamie Jones, and Berlin-based Korean artist Peggy Gou, all performing experimental performances. Guests included Bella Hadid, Alexa Chung, Hailey Baldwin, and Kendall Jenner, all of whom enjoyed the ecstatic night. Going forward, F IS FOR... plans to create new events like this that go beyond online events and are distinct from shows and parties.
