Fashion model Rui Kurihara was born on December 6, 1994, in Tokyo. He is half British and half Japanese. He lived in New York as a child due to his mother's work. He began modeling at around age five and appeared in the fashion magazine "MEN'S NON-NO" when he was in his second year of junior high school. He began his talent career in 2012, garnering attention as a "handsome model with an overly negative personality."
