Banana Republic, an apparel brand under Gap Inc., released a limited-edition collection in collaboration with luxury fashion brand L'Wren Scott on December 5th. This marks L'Wren Scott's first collaboration with a global fashion brand.
Inspired by glamorous holiday parties, the collection features over 50 pieces, ranging from sequined party dresses and bejeweled cardigans to feminine tapered jeans, lace dresses and pencil skirts, to clutch bags with chains that can be worn as necklaces or bracelets. The collection features three original prints created specifically for the collaboration: a bold lip print, a garden-inspired peony floral print, and a candy stripe pattern in black and ultra violet. The collection is available at Banana Republic stores, including Printemps Ginza, Roppongi Hills, Shin-Marunouchi, and Coredo Nihonbashi, as well as online. Born in Utah, USA, L'Wren Scott gained experience as a model in Paris before moving to Los Angeles to work as a stylist and advertising campaign director. Her brand, founded in 2006, focuses on feminine and sexy silhouette dresses and is a favorite of celebrities around the world as a regular on the red carpet.
