On January 15, 2022, at 2:00 PM (Italian time), Silvia Venturini Fendi presented its Fall/Winter 2022-23 Men's Collection at the Fendi Milan office (Via A. Solari 35, Milan).
The collection reinterprets the men's wardrobe, elevating old-world classics to a new "Roaring Twenties" era. Subversive yet playful formal designs are infused with timeless elegance, redefining the very notion of tailoring. Rich, understated colors such as black, cream burgundy, raspberry, mocha, taupe, and white highlight precious fabrics and bold graphic statements. Traditional fabrics and textures like Vichy tweed and houndstooth suiting, satin-trimmed tuxedos and silk jacquards are interwoven with ribbed sleeves, cable-knit ensembles and the new Fendi O'Lock chain motif.

Drawing on classic symbols of masculine sophistication, the collection is adorned with three-dimensional pearl and diamond digital prints, shearling flower brooches, pearl O'Lock chokers and crystal FF pendants. Unprecedented combinations of suiting, knitwear and leather add a new softness to the structured lines of Fendi tailoring. Blazers evolve into flat capes; plunging collars on jackets and knitwear reveal collarbones; and wide trousers sway with trailing half-skirts. Outerwear evokes couture volume with dropped shoulders, dolman sleeves, sharp lapels, and covered buttons. Etched "Orloc" shearling, intricately inlaid shearling, and smooth leather trims showcase Fendi craftsmanship.
The ultimate expression of Fendi's Roman elegance, unconventional evening silhouettes celebrate dressing up with cropped double-breasted jackets, super-high-waisted formal trousers, and Mary Jane brogues accessorized with strap watches. Nostalgic footwear includes patent leather "Orloc" loafers with scalloped trims and two-tone wingtip Chelsea boots; new sneakers feature a dynamic stretched "FF" logo. The accessories collection features the Peekaboo bag, its most architecturally-crafted to date, reimagined as the Peekaboo FForty8, a structured shopper crafted from sturdy, smooth-grained leather, FF logo panels, suede, and this season's Vichy check wool. The Baguette is available as a large soft trunk with the FF logo, a scaled-down, exotic miniature chain bag, and the signature metal and Plexiglas trunk. Additionally, the Orlock motif and Baguette design are transformed into luxury tech accessories for the Ledger Nano X, the world's first digital hardware wallet for cryptocurrencies and digital assets. Designed and art directed by Italian artist Nico Vascellari, the show, the first livestreamed since the relaunch of fendi.com, was presented on a mirrored runway ramp featuring the FF logo design, and Italian DJ and composer Alessandro Cortini created an exclusive live soundtrack for the show.
