Model Lara Stone was born on December 20, 1983, in North Brabant, Netherlands.
Born to a Dutch mother and an English father, she was scouted by a modeling agent in Paris at the age of 12. At 15, she competed in the Elite Model Contest. Although she did not win, she caught the eye of Elite Models and signed a contract with the company. In 2006, she moved to IMG.
Known for her distinctive front teeth, she has appeared in campaigns for Givenchy and Hugo Boss. In 2010, she signed an exclusive contract with Calvin Klein, where she has appeared as a front model for the brand's jeans, fragrances, and many other lines.
This year, she was ranked 10th in Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid models. She has also been selected as the new face of major cosmetics brand L'Oréal Paris. In her personal life, she has been married to British comedian David Walliams for 2010 and gave birth to her first child in May of this year.
