Fendi unveils stainless steel furniture collaboration with Maria Pergay at Design Miami

Dec 29, 2013

FENDI unveiled an installation created in collaboration with furniture designer Maria Pergay at the art fair "Design Miami 2013," held in Miami, Florida from December 4th to 8th.

The installation featured a series of pieces created by combining Pergay's specialty stainless steel furniture with Fendi's signature fur and leather. The designs utilize the fur production technique known as "inlay" and trompe l'oeil (optical art) techniques, paying homage to Fendi's traditions and creations. The collection includes the "Pouf Goeland" in lacquered stainless steel and fox fur; the "Chaises Lion" chair in stainless steel and bronze; the "Torchere Flammes" chair with flame graphics, made of wrought iron, stainless steel, copper mesh and LED lighting; the "Cabinet Petales" chair in a variety of stainless steel, wood and stingray leather; and the "Table Marronier" and "Cabinet Arlequin" chairs in amaranth, ebony, stainless steel, eggshell and stingray leather.
