Perfume wears ADIAM at Kohaku. Daito Manabe says, "We survived until the end."

Dec 31, 2013

Perfume appeared on the 64th annual Red and White Song Battle, broadcast on December 31st, wearing original ADEAM costumes designed by designer Hanako Maeda. The brand's official Twitter account revealed this.
The garments featured a satin fabric with a hydrangea-inspired graphic print and embroidered petals around the neck, a design characteristic of ADEAM. They were worn during a segment performed by this year's Red Team host, Haruka Ayase.
Perfume also performed "Magic of Love" in their own performances, wearing white dresses with ruffles here and there. Rhizomatiks, the studio that usually handles Perfume's video production, performed geometric projection mapping on top of the garments. Using infrared and distance-measuring cameras, the outfits analyzed body movements in real time and adjusted the image to match the movements and prevent them from overflowing the screen.

After the performance, Rhizomatiks' Manabe Daito posted a tweet on his Twitter account saying, "We made it through to the end of this year as well."
