Through the lens of Yohji Yamamoto, the brand "Ground Y" proposes new possibilities in fashion with a "genderless" and "ageless" style, incorporating multifaceted elements that sync with the concept. The brand was created in collaboration with Ikoma, a close friend of Ikoma, who is active as an actor in TV dramas, films and stage productions and has appeared in numerous Ground Y Key Visual models. The collaborative collection with Ikoma Rina will be available for pre-order for seven days only, from January 7th to 13th, 2022, at the official online store, "THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO," and at Ground Y directly managed stores.

The original graphic print combines a handwritten "message" that expresses Ikoma Rina's inner thoughts with the "Ground Y" logo handwritten by Ikoma Rina herself. The sentiment, which evokes courage and hope to take a step forward, is expressed through the filter of Yohji Yamamoto. This is a unisex collection with a relaxed design that can be enjoyed daily by both men and women.

-Message from Ikoma Rina-
I began to admire the worldview of Yohji Yamamoto when I was a teenager, and now I wear their clothes for both personal and work occasions. They are the brand that fits me best and gives me strength. When I was approached about the collaboration, I was unsure what to do as I am not good at designing or drawing illustrations, but I decided to give it a try, thinking that with the help of Ground Y I might be able to express the words inside me in a three-dimensional way.
I hope that these words will inspire someone.
Once again, I am truly happy to have been able to collaborate with Ground Y.
*At a later date, an interview video in which Ikoma Rina herself talks about her thoughts on the collaboration will be released on the official Ground Y YouTube channel.

【Ikoma Rina Profile】
Born in 1995 in Akita Prefecture. She was the center for five consecutive releases of Nogizaka46, starting with their debut single, and after graduating from the group in 2018, she has been active as an actress in television dramas and movies, and is currently a regular on NHK Educational TV's "Stretchman Gold." Recently, she attempted her first solo play in the stage play "7,322 Loves of Me and Merryvel," and is currently appearing in the role of the mysterious woman Motoki Haruka in the drama "The Real Culprit Flag," which airs every Sunday on Nippon TV.
