"I always aim to create designs that are elegant, sophisticated, yet playful, which are characteristic of Roger Vivier."

Frisoni was chosen because he had many things in common with Monsieur. When Monsieur created haute couture shoes, he did not design them centered around the shoes, but rather envisioned a woman's total outfit and designed shoes to fit that. Frisoni also builds the image of shoes in conjunction with the outfit, which is a major commonality with Monsieur. Elegance, sophistication, and a sense of playfulness are also Monsieur's characteristics.

"The only difference is that Monsieur was more talented than I was," she said, expressing her respect.
