Henri Leroux will be releasing limited-edition products for Salon du Chocolat and Valentine's Day.
In October 2015, Henri Leroux was selected as one of the "15 Essential Chocolatiers in France" by the prestigious French chocolate enthusiasts' association C.C.C., and has also received the Gold Tablet (Tablette d'or) for two consecutive years.
At this year's Salon du Chocolat, they will be selling a limited-edition box containing only the bonbons that won C.C.C. awards from 2012 to 2014 (12 pieces for 4,600 yen), as well as an assortment of the five Tablet award-winning chocolates from 2012 and 2013 (5 pieces for 1,800 yen, 8 pieces for 3,000 yen). Also available is the "Kouign Aman Chocolat au Caramel Tatin," which is a single caramel tatin wrapped in cocoa-flavored brioche pastry.
The Valentine's Day limited edition product will be presented in a deep red box with a large ribbon, an impressive design by Henri Leroux. An assortment of bonbons will be sold, including a new product inspired by Roberto Rossellini's film "A Trip to Italy," which depicts the emotional turmoil of a man and woman superimposed against beautiful Italian scenery. The lineup includes this year's new "Coffret Bize" (1,500 yen), which combines four varieties from Modena, Capri, Palerme, and Turin-Les, as well as the "Coffret Amour" (3,000 yen), which contains eight pieces, and the "Coffret Ensemble" (4,125 yen), which contains 11 pieces.
