Isetan Shinjuku Main Store is hosting "upcoming NEW textile vol.2" in the TOKYO Liberation Zone on the second floor of the main building until February 16th, an event showcasing Tokyo-based brands that express the joy of color and pattern through textiles.

This is the second installment of the event, following on from last December's event, which focuses on brands with distinctive textile designs and introduces new textile fashion. The four brands being introduced this time are spoken words project, SPOLOGUM, VL by VEE, and polka dot soielle.

Spoken words project introduces spring-inducing textile fashion with foil processing, with "denim" as the keyword. Items on sale include a denim strawberry-print dress (52,000 yen), a polka-dot sweatshirt (22,000 yen), a T-shirt (23,000 yen), a denim pencil skirt (35,000 yen), a foil elastic skirt (32,000 yen), and a coat (45,000 to 48,000 yen).

Sporogum will introduce spring textile fashion through the sheerness of chiffon and the combination of different materials. The polka-dot foil T-shirt (12,000 yen), produced exclusively for this project under the theme of "foil," comes in gold and silver colors and is a noteworthy item that symbolizes Sporogum's 16SS collection. Additionally, the brand's popular silkscreen-printed stoles (from 16,000 yen) will also be available in spring-like pastel colors.

With the theme of "Sky Picnic," VIEL by Wee will introduce items featuring charming combinations of different materials such as organza and lace, as well as denim, centered around original textiles depicting the changing colors of the sky and dancing cats and women. A cut-and-sew top (15,000 yen) using foil will be sold in advance at the store. Other items on sale include blouses (from 18,000 yen), denim jumpsuits (27,000 yen), and pants (25,000 yen). The first 15 people to spend over 32,400 yen (tax included) at the venue will receive a gift of an original embroidered pouch by the brand.

With the theme of "GLASS," Polka Dot Soiree will introduce silk items finished with hand-printing and hand-embroidering. Items on offer include a printed sleeveless dress (43,000 yen), overdyed silk pants (29,000 yen), and a silk chiffon robe with embroidered lame cuffs (42,000 yen).

Workshops by Spoken Words Project, Sporogum, and Polka Dot Soiree will also be held during the event.
