AQUILANO RIMONDI's SS14 collection. Art-loving designers Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi chose Maasai murals and Gauguin's works as motifs.

The multi-border pattern of the short tops is a graphic representation of the Maasai's distinctive style of layering colorful necklaces. The stripes are also a traditional Maasai pattern. The tight skirt featuring vibrant Polynesian women is inspired by the Polynesian wrap skirt known as the sarong. The collection offers modern styling with sporty, minimalist silhouettes, including menswear-inspired shirt-collar blouses and miniskirts.

The brand's signature designs incorporate jewel-like colors such as turquoise, burgundy, dark emerald, blue, and gold, as well as luxurious elements such as high-tech tulle, mikado silk, and embroidery.
