Nissen has appointed flower artist Nicolai Bergmann as visual director for its Spring 2014 catalog, due for publication in early January. Bergmann produced the visual composition for the catalog cover and the first pages of the magazine. The Spring issue's cover features several "flower towers" made of roses. The cover girl is model and TV personality Karina. In addition to the visual composition for the Summer 2014 issue, original fashion items with flower designs using newly taken photos directed by Bergmann will also be on sale. Also, starting on the 9th, for the month of January only, wallpapers for PCs, mobile phones, and smartphones designed by Bergmann will be available as gifts on the Nissen website. Last year, Nissen appointed young artist Asami Kiyokawa as art director. She also produced the company's fashion items, and a preview event was held exclusively for Nissen members.
