In June 2021, Breitling unveiled a special Japan-exclusive model in the updated Chronomat collection, the first to feature mother-of-pearl. This Japan-exclusive model is now available as a Diamond Works model, perfect for the holiday season. The bezel is lavishly set with 112 diamonds, creating a dazzling and striking presence. The case back allows visitors to admire the beautiful Manufacture Caliber 01, and is engraved with a certificate indicating that this is a limited edition of 25 pieces.
The Chronomat: A Versatile Sports Watch for Every Demand
The Chronomat occupies an important place in Breitling's history. When it was introduced in 1984, at a time when ultra-thin quartz watches were at their peak, Breitling made a bold bet with a striking mechanical timepiece. Building on the Frecce Tricolori Chronograph, developed and launched in 1983 in collaboration with the famed Italian Air Force, the Chronomat celebrated 100 years of Breitling style and returned the mechanical chronograph to its rightful place within the brand, cementing its worldwide reputation for exceptional timepieces. The new Chronomat features a 42 mm case with non-curved lugs, the iconic bezel with four rider tabs, and a distinctive "Rouleaux" bracelet.

Chronomat B01 42 Japan Edition Black Mother-of-Pearl
This is the first time that the new Chronomat collection features a mother-of-pearl dial. Mother-of-pearl dials have always been highly sought-after in Japan due to their unparalleled beauty. This time, the Chronomat B01 42 Japan Edition, featuring a black mother-of-pearl dial, is now available in an extremely rare Diamond Works model. The bezel is set with 112 diamonds totaling 1.03 carats, creating a bold, luxurious and exceptionally elegant look. This timepiece, combining stunning beauty and presence while maintaining functionality, is powered by the Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer that meets the highest standards for precision and reliability. This beautiful movement can be viewed through sapphire crystal, and the case back is engraved with a certificate indicating that this is a limited edition of 25 pieces.
