Kate Spade opens flagship store in Ginza, featuring first Asian collection and bar

Kate Spade New York will open its first flagship store outside of the United States in Ginza. It is scheduled for late March or early April. The address is 5-5-19 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
The floor area will be 421.9 square meters and the store will have a three-story structure. The facade will feature the brand's signature bow. The store will carry the brand's full collection of handbags, apparel, shoes, and bridal wear. A handbag (57,750 yen) will be available exclusively at this store.
The first floor will be the only store in Asia to carry the brand's premium apparel line, the Madison Avenue Collection. Also featured is an art display called "Floral Handbag Tree" by American artist Joseph Kohen, with handbags, jewelry, watches, and more available in the back. The second floor will offer the largest selection of apparel and shoes in Japan.

The third floor will feature party dresses and gift items based on the concept of "one for you, two for me!" There will also be a private shopping corner called "kate spade suite" and a bar serving drinks and sweets. Monthly events are planned for kate spade suite.
