Jan 9, 2014

UNIQLO will open a new large-scale street-level store on Sunshine 60 Street in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, on March 14th. The address is 1-21-4 Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo. The company aims to create a "global thriving store" by offering a full lineup of the latest and most seasonal products in a downtown location that is always bustling. The store is located in a busy area, surrounded by American Eagle Outfitters, ABC Mart, Tokyu Hands, and electronics retailers. The store will span the first to sixth floors, covering approximately 2,644.62 square meters. It will offer a full lineup of items for men, women, children, and babies. Following the full opening of the Fukutoshin Line in 2008 and the connection to the Tokyu Toyoko Line in 2013, Ikebukuro is said to be the second busiest area in the world, after Shinjuku.
