SAZABY LEAGUE has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with natural body care product brand Soaptopia. The brand's first store in Japan will be located in the newly renovated Toyoko branch of Tokyu Department Store, which will reopen in early April.
Soaptopia, which was born in a beach bungalow in Venice, California, launched in the US in 2005. Its natural soaps are carefully crafted one by one using a cold process method, blending plant-derived ingredients with high-grade 100% pure essential oils, shea butter from Senegal, and Italian olive oil. While the soaps are colorful, they retain the natural colors of botanical ingredients such as dried raspberry and pomegranate.
Under the motto "LOVE & BELOVED, ONE LOVE," the brand sells a wide range of products, from natural soaps to body care products, infused with the humor and kindness of founder Jolie Chitwood Cox.
Currently, the brand is sold worldwide through its Venice flagship store, official website, and the American organic supermarket Whole Foods Market. In Japan, it began being sold in 2011 at Ron Herman in Sendagaya, Tokyo, which is run by the Sazaby League. This time, the brand will open a store in Shibuya, where redevelopment is underway around the station, with the opening of Hikarie and the renovation of Tokyu Toyoko Department Store, and it is hoped that the bustle of the city will lead to increased sales.
