Jan 20, 2014

PIERRE HERME PARIS will be selling its 2014 Valentine's Day products from January 22nd to February 14th. The hazelnut-flavored bitter chocolate spread, "Part à Tartine Infiniment Praline Noisette" (2,100 yen), which was released exclusively at last year's Salon du Chocolat and sold out by mid-morning each day, will only be available at its directly managed boutiques. The classic bonbon chocolates include a new flavor, "Infiniment Café Earl Rouge du Présile," featuring Brazilian coffee-flavored ganache coated in chocolat noir. The popular flavors will be presented in a classic, heavy-duty box. A box of five varieties (5 pieces) will cost 2,100 yen, a box of eight varieties (7 pieces) will cost 3,150 yen, and a box of 14 varieties (11 pieces) will cost 5,250 yen. "Coeur Ombre et Lumiere" (3,750 yen) is a new product available only at directly managed boutiques. It features chocolates resembling trees and moss, and cream chunks resembling rocks, and features a variety of textures, including crispy roasted almond brownie, soft chocolate dough, and cocoa mousse. Each store will also debut a limited-edition gallé. Salon du Chocolat at Isetan Shinjuku will offer a hazelnut praline gallé, while Ginza Mitsukoshi will offer a ganache chocolat noir with vanilla from Tahiti, Mexico, and Madagascar. JR Nagoya Takashimaya will also offer a caramel-flavored ganache chocolat au lait with fleur de sel. Each gallé will be priced at 2,310 yen.
